Evie is bummed out! Her father moved out, taking the family dog with him, her parents divorced and now her Dad has remarried and is expecting a twin babies with his new wife. Trying to impress her father who is a famous chef, author and cooking show host, Evie takes a summer cooking class. As she learns to cook, she makes friends with her cooking partner, helps her elderly neighbor and learns how to deal with the changes life brings on.
